Make Simple Audio Adjustments

Make Simple Audio Adjustments

It’s easy to adjust your soundtrack mix to blend music with speech.

Here are a few of the most common:

  • Adjust the volume: You can use the Volume slider in the Timeline Panel to adjust the volume of a clip.
  • Apply an audio effect: You can use the Effects Panel to add audio effects to a clip. Some common audio effects include EQ, compression, and reverb.
  • Remove noise: You can use the Noise Reduction effect to remove noise from a clip.
  • Duck audio: You can use the Ducking effect to make one audio clip quieter when another audio clip is playing. This is often used to make music quieter when someone is speaking.

Here are some additional tips for making simple audio adjustments in Premiere Pro:

  • You can also use the Audio Track Mixer to adjust the volume of individual audio tracks.
  • You can use the Essential Sound Panel to make a variety of audio adjustments, including noise reduction, EQ, and compression.
  • You can use the Audio Clip Mixer to adjust the volume and panning of individual audio clips.
  • You can use the Export Audio dialog box to export a clip or sequence as an audio file.
