Create A New Sequence
To create a new sequence in Premiere Pro, you can follow these steps:
- Open Premiere Pro.
- In the Project Panel, click the New Item button and select Sequence from the drop-down menu.
- In the New Sequence dialog box, enter a name for your sequence.
- Select the settings for your sequence. These settings include the video format, frame rate, and resolution.
- Click Create.
Your new sequence will be created in the Timeline Panel.
Here are some additional tips for creating new sequences in Premiere Pro:
- You can also create a new sequence by right-clicking in the Timeline Panel and selecting New Sequence.
- When you create a new sequence, you will be prompted to select the settings for your sequence. These settings include the video format, frame rate, and resolution.
- You can also create a new sequence based on an existing clip. To do this, right-click the clip in the Project Panel and select New Sequence from Clip.
- Once you have created a new sequence, you can add clips to it by dragging and dropping them from the Project Panel to the Timeline Panel.
- You can also add clips to a sequence by clicking the Insert button in the Timeline Panel and selecting the clips you want to add.
- You can rearrange the clips in a sequence by dragging and dropping them.
- You can delete clips from a sequence by selecting them and pressing the
Delete
key. - You can trim clips by dragging the beginning or end of the clip in the Timeline Panel.
- You can add transitions between clips by dragging and dropping transitions from the Effects Panel to the Timeline Panel between the clips.
- You can add titles to your sequence by clicking the Titler button in the upper-right corner of the Timeline Panel.
- You can add effects to clips by dragging and dropping effects from the Effects Panel to the clips in the Timeline Panel.
- You can adjust the duration of a clip by dragging the end or beginning of the clip in the Timeline Panel.
- You can export your sequence by clicking the Export button in the upper-right corner of the Timeline Panel.
